History of Hero Master Sports Academy

Hero Master Sports Academy was established in April 2014 in Enugu by a group of football philanthropists, Ex-professional players, and active professional players with some based in Europe.

The Establishment of these sports organization was the outcome of burdens carried by these football loving Nigerians whose primary objectives were motivated by the idleness of young Nigerian football stars who are though talented but was deprived of the opportunity to showcase their talents to the best of their abilities due to non-availability of conducive training facilities and versatile tutelage for mentorship to help them achieve their visions.

The road has indeed been rough but the die-hard and dogged approach with which the proprietor of the academy (Mr. Samuel Chukwuemeka Obi) and the unpleasant experiences he passed through while playing the game of football has sustained the vision of this outfit till date. Also, the able hands and partnership he has been able to harness internationally are all craving in a united voice for success.

Our training facility is situated in the University of Nigeria Enugu campus soccer pitch, while our training or practice days are from Monday through Fridays, while the weekend is being set aside for rest.

We are also working towards securing a nice coaster bus in the coming months with which to convey our team all over the country for invitational matches or tournaments.

Our traditional colours are blue and black, and we have about 40 players in the academy.

The following are some of our recent achievements:

  1. A player in the Nigerian U17 National Team
  2. A player exported to Israel
  3. 3 Players in the ongoing Nigerian Premier League.
